About Toolzen

Toolzen is a small, independent collection of free web-based tools built around one idea: everyday tasks like formatting JSON, generating a color palette, or running a quick ROI calculation shouldn't require an account, a download, or handing your data over to a server.

Our Mission

We aim to build tools that are fast to load, simple to use, and honest about what they do with your data. Wherever technically possible, Toolzen's tools run entirely client-side — inside your browser — so the text you paste into the JSON formatter or the numbers you type into the ROI calculator are never transmitted anywhere. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's network inspector while using any tool on this site and you'll see no requests carrying your input.

A Growing Toolkit

Toolzen launched with a Color Palette Generator, a JSON Formatter, and an ROI Calculator, and has since added a Compound Interest Calculator — chosen because they're genuinely useful across different audiences: designers, developers and business users. The site is built around a simple internal registry so that adding a new tool is a small, contained change rather than a rewrite. Expect the toolkit to keep growing based on what turns out to be useful in practice.

Who's Behind This

Toolzen is run as a small independent project rather than by a large team. There's no fabricated "About Us" page full of stock-photo employees here — just a straightforward commitment to keeping the tools free, fast, and respectful of your privacy. If that changes in any material way, this page will be updated to reflect it.
